In the early 1870’s Danish imigrants began settling in the area that is now the center of Victory Township for the rich black soil. In 1896 a group of women formed a Ladies Aid Society with the hopes of starting a church. Working with pastors from the Bethany Lutheran church in Ludington eventually a church was chartered in 1910 as the “Dansk Evagelisk Trinitatis Kirke”. Services continued in Danish until 1940. The relationship with Bethany Lutheran Church in Ludington and sharing pastors continued until their closure in 2019.

Presently

Today there is a good mixture of retired and working families along with a good youth group. Many of the families have roots back to the founders of the church continuing the good works started in the early years. The church is also blessed with families that summer in the area.
